Official Advisory Discussion
At 900 AM GMT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Wanda was located near latitude 38.5 North, longitude 35.5 West. Wanda is moving toward the northeast near 17 mph (28 km/h), and the storm is expected to continue accelerating northeastward through Monday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Little change in strength is expected during the next day or so.
Wanda is forecast to merge with a frontal system tonight and
dissipate by late Monday.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center in the southeastern quadrant.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches).
